Shipping / Delivery Policy

Delays in shipping are expected due to various reasons and by placing an order, you are accepting the risk of damage or loss (especially live plants), as logistics are beyond our control.

Forwarding Schedules

  • Dry Goods: 3 working days from the receipt of payment.
  • Plants: All orders placed before 6 pm on Friday will be shipped latest by Tuesday, the following week.

We provide FREE SHIPPING on all orders over ₹450.00
Except - Substrates (Gravel, Branded Soil etc.), lighting, chillers and other bulk items.

  • Plants, 

Additional Packing and Shipping charges will apply for plants as below, based on the volumetric calculations of the logistics company. Charges are automatically calculated at the time of checkout;

Up to Rs. 999 = Rs. 350
Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2500 > Rs. 250
Rs. 2501 to Rs. 4000 > Rs. 350
Rs. 4001 to Rs. 6000 > Rs. 450
Rs. 6001 and above > Rs. 600

Please make sure someone is there to receive the parcel at the time of delivery at your shipping address. We will not be liable to replace any damaged plant arising due to the absence and subsequent delay.

  • Fish & Inverts

Additional Packing Charges will apply for Fish & Inverts only.
Based on your order confirmation, we shall notify you of the packing & shipping charges to your destination.

Order pooling - If you would like to share the freight costs (for fishes) with a friend, you can intimate us of the same. We can work out special shipping deals for multiple orders shipped to a single location. Individual Packing charges however will apply.

  • Please make sure someone is there to receive the parcel at the right time for fish & inverts. We will not be liable to replace any DOA if there has been a delay in receiving the parcel.
  • Aquashoppe will not be responsible for delays by the Carrier, as it is out of our span of control.
  • All shipping and packing charges are non refundable (No exceptions).

Mode of shipment

Courier: We have tied up with the largest postal organization in the world, IndiaPost for all our orders except fish. While perishable items like plants will be sent by air (Speed Post), heavier items like filters, will be sent by surface/rail (Registered Parcel Post). Some packages may be sent by DTDC to ensure faster delivery, usually cases where we have found that India Post is lacking in faster connectivity.

Bus: Generally used only for overnight journeys. Fish, Equipment and Plants can be sent by this mode.

Train: Generally used for shipping fish for long distance, generally for a 48-50 hour journey.

Air: For urgent fish deliveries (charges to customer account).

D.O.A Policy

  • We will only process returns/refunds for items bought from us
  • All claims are to be submitted with photos (without opening the plastic bag) within 24 hours of receipt of the shipment.
  • We will not accept returns if:
  1. Items are not in original packaging/condition.
  2. Items are returned more than 7 days after delivery.
  3. All live plant orders are non returnable.
  4. Any claims (if they arise) are at the sole discretion of Aquashoppe and is limited to the value of the item only.
  5. Claims for shipping, packing and forwarding charges, etc will not be considered.

Return / Replacement - Dry Goods policy

  • Shipping fees are only refundable for defective merchandise or merchandise we sent in error returned within 15 days of purchase date.
  • In the rare case of receiving damaged or wrong merchandise, please follow the steps outlined in the next point and we will replace it immediately.
  • Call us or mail us and receive a 'Return Authorization Number - RAN #'.
  • All claims are to be submitted with photos within 24 hours of receipt of the shipment, along with the following details:

  2. Item Ordered:
  3. Nature of problem: Defective / Broken / Wrong Product
  4. Short explanation:
  • All defective or wrong merchandise should be sent back to us with proper packaging with all accessories, tags etc. to us with a correct tracking number (AWB, LR number etc). The package should bear "RAN # ' on top of the package.
  • Your new product will be shipped as soon as we receive the defective product. This is shipped free of charge.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations can be considered if the request is sent within 48 hours of confirmation of the order. However, cancellations cannot be entertained if the consignment has already been despatched. No cancellations will be entertained for promotional offers at any cost.
